The GP Series ships with Canon’s re-developed 7-color LUCIA PRO II ink set — MBK, PBK, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Gray, and Orange — designed to close the gap between what a proof looks like on screen and what actually comes off the printer:
- Accurate, wide-gamut color — including noticeably better performance in dark, shadowed areas that are historically hard to reproduce.
- 96% of the PANTONE Formula Guide Solid Coated color gamut, tested on Premium Semi-Glossy Paper 2.
- High scratch resistance and light-resistant pigment ink, so finished pieces hold up during handling, installation, and extended display.
- Orange and Matte Black carried over from Canon’s GP-4000/2000 line to keep vivid, eye-catching prints consistent across projects.

The GP-6600S ships with the multifunction roll unit standard, and it’s available as an option on the GP-4600S and GP-2600S — useful for shops running dual-roll or automated finishing workflows without needing to babysit media changes.
